March 2024
The first Walton Gas newsletter is released. It is later named by a Walton Gas customer: The Gasette.
October 2009
Walton Gas begins sponsoring the Georgia 2-Day walk for breast cancer.
January 2013
Champions for Charity (originally Kickin’ it for Charity) started. Since the start, we have raised $387,000 for the three charities: Camp Twin Lakes, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Salvation Army.
July 2013
Rated #1 in customer satisfaction for the third consecutive year. The survey was only completed three times.
October 2015
Walton EMC Natural Gas updated it’s logo and includes the “Georgia Proud” tagline to show that we can serve all of Georgia and not just Walton EMC’s service area.
September 2018
Walton attends it’s first Suwannee Fest as a Parade Sponsor.
October 2018
The Walton Gas Pink Power team raises $53,000 towards breast cancer research and patient support services.

Not only did Walton Gas become the Presenting Sponsor of the AthHalf Half Marathon but many employees ran the race too.
April 2020
Walton begins their partner program with Snapping Shoals EMC.
August 2022
Walton Gas participates in the Snapping Shoals EMC’s Annual Meeting, 4 months after their partnership began due to COVID.
